Kathy Ide, co-owner of CEN LLC, has been a published author since 1989. She has written books (fiction and nonfiction), articles, play and movie scripts, short stories, devotionals, and curriculum. She is the author of Proofreading Secrets of Best-Selling Authors and the editor/compiler of the Fiction Lover’s Devotional series. She has ghostwritten ten nonfiction books and a series of five novels.
Kathy has been a professional freelance editor since 1998. She offers a full range of editorial services for aspiring writers, established authors, commercial book publishers, and subsidy publishers.
Kathy founded The Christian PEN and the Christian Editor Connection and directed them until the creation of Christian Editor Network LLC.
Christi McGuire, co-owner of CEN LLC, has been the director of The PEN Institute since its launch in September 2016, and has been director of the Christian Editor Connection since 2014. As a freelance editor, writer, and consultant, she has been in the Christian publishing industry for sixteen years. She has published more than one hundred magazine articles and dozens of children’s devotionals and curriculum and is releasing her first book, When’s It My Turn? A Collection of Short Stories and Temper Tantrums in January 2017. Currently, her primary focus is partnering with authors in the creative process to polish their nonfiction book manuscripts and help them navigate the path to publishing through her company CM Creative Consulting LLC.
Christi works and plays along the sandy beaches of the Gulf Coast in Florida with her husband and their two daughters.
Jenne Acevedo, co-owner of CEN LLC, is the director of The Christian PEN: Proofreaders and Editors Network, the director of PENCON, and a member of the Writers-Editors Network. She is passionate about encouraging editors so they can do their best for their clients.
As a freelance editor, writer, and speaker, Jenne encourages and assists writers in their journeys to publication through Acevedo Word Solutions LLC. She also leads the Chandler Writers’ Group, which she started in 2011. Her deep desire to honor God is evident as she helps writers define their visions and refine their manuscripts.
Jenne loves to travel and play games with her family, entertain in her home, and make homemade jams and apple butter. She lives in sunny Arizona with her husband and three children.
